Visit of the NVHBP delegation to UET-VNU

On August 12, 2022, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (University of Technology – Hanoi National University) welcomed the delegation of the Netherlands – Vietnam Horticulture Business Platform (NVHBP) in Hanoi led by Mr. Eijik – Chairman of the Platform, the Head of the delegation to visit and work at the University.

The working session by Prof. Dr. Le Huy Ham – Dean of Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Dr. Le Thi Hien – Vice Dean of Faculty and Dr. Pham Minh Trien – Vice Dean of the Faculty chaired.

Responding to the interest of the NVHBP delegation, Prof. Dr. Le Huy Ham introduced to the delegation about the educational, training and scientific research activities of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology in particular and the University of Technology in general. Based on the strengths of the two sides, the two sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in the development of digital agriculture and agriculture in Vietnam. Regarding training, initially, the NVHBP will base on University’s exisiting training program to organize online courses to increase the practicality for students. At the same time, creating conditions for students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology to intern at enterprises in NVHBP. In addition, the Association will connect to spread information about the Conference on Application of Information Technology in Agriculture in the Asia-Pacific region (APFITA 2022) to members of the Association and partners. related work in the Netherlands. Thereby, the Faculty of Science and Technology and the Association’s representative discussed the direction of cooperation in the future in the field of agricultural technology.
