NVHBP-DGD VISIT AHTP
On March 16, 2024, the delegation of Netherlands Vietnam Horti Business Platform (NVHBP) and Dutch Greenhouse Delta (DGD) visited the Agricultural High-Tech Park of Ho Chi Minh City (AHTP).
The Dutch delegation included representatives of the Westland municipality, coordinators and members of the Platform the companies Food Ventures, Hoogendoorn and Gakon Netafim companies – providing solutions, investing and operating greenhouses, Anthura – providing young plants of Anthurium flowers, Phalaenopsis orchids.
On the AHTP side, the Dutch delegation was welcomed by representatives of the Board of Directors, deputy heads of the departments of Science and Training, Investment and Enterprise Management, Center for High-Tech Agricultural Research and Development, Center for Business Incubation and leaders of other related departments.
The group visited the production model in the High-tech Agricultural Park, including the Dendrobium orchid growing model of Vuon Mo Company; Vertical hydroponic model of Kim Xuan Quang Company; the experimental production area for growing flowers and ornamental plants, the greenhouse area for growing cherry tomatoes with drip irrigation, and the laboratory, propagation area for tissue culture.
The High-Tech Agricultural Park Management Board introduced the development of High-Tech Agricultural, attracting investment in high-tech agriculture in Ho Chi Minh City;
The two sides discussed a number of technical solutions and equipment for greenhouses in hot and humid climate condition in Ho Chi Minh City such as screening systems, double ridge ventilation, cooling systems, and dehumidifying systems from the Netherlands.
NVHBP proposed technical solutions and nutrient irrigation equipment for Kim Xuan Quang Company, sharing documents and cultivation guides for growing and caring for Anthurium flowers for the High-Tech Agricultural Research and Development Center.
The two sides agreed to continue introducing appropriate Dutch agricultural technologies, and introduce Dutch businesses wishing to invest or cooperate with Vietnamese businesses to promote products in the Vietnamese market.
