Agro&Food Processing Vietnam Matchmaking
Dutch Business Association Vietnam (DBAV), the Association of Food Transparency (AFT) and LinkSME Vietnam (funded by USAID), will jointly organize an online business matching session between Dutch and Vietnamese companies in the agro/food processing industries on 22 September.
Background & context
Doing business in Vietnam has never been this promising for Dutch companies. Vietnam has welcomed an enormous and constant growing flow of FDI in the past decade. From a small developing country with a closed border, nowadays, Vietnam has received roughly 19 billion EUR of FDI in 2021, the third highest ranking country after Singapore and Indonesia, of which manufacturing and processing sectors are in the front row of the total registered capital investment. Belonging to the top 10 major FDI in Vietnam, the Netherlands is the biggest EU-investor in Vietnam and ranks the fifth largest investor into Vietnam.
The Opportunity
Dutch companies can take part in a free of charge business matching session, preceded by several seminars on doing business in Vietnam (optional to enter). The trade advisers of DBAV, AFT and LinkSME will have 1-1 intake conversations with Dutch importers, to carefully assess their buying need, before matching them with potential Vietnamese suppliers.
